Waiting on Wednesday (2/29/2012) Unbreak My Heart

Author: Melissa Walker
Expected Release Date: May 22, 2012
Summary From Goodreads:

Sophomore year broke Clementine Williams’ heart. She fell for her best friend’s boyfriend and long story short: he’s excused, but Clem is vilified and she heads into summer with zero social life.

Enter her parents’ plan to spend the summer on their sailboat. Normally the idea of being stuck on a tiny boat with her parents and little sister would make Clem break out in hives, but floating away sounds pretty good right now.

Then she meets James at one of their first stops along the river. He and his dad are sailing for the summer and he’s just the distraction Clem needs. Can he break down Clem’s walls and heal her broken heart?

Told in alternating chapters that chronicle the year that broke Clem’s heart and the summer that healed it, Unbreak My Heart is a wonderful dual love story that fans of Sarah Dessen, Deb Caletti, and Susane Colasanti will flock to.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we (bloggers) are anxiously awaiting. So what book are you excited about right now?

I'm BACK! I had a most excellent adventure in New York City with my just turned 16 year old daughter. You might know her as Jessica from Shut Up I'm Reading! For as long as I can remember Jessica has wanted to go to NYC. I had been telling her for years that I would take her for her 16th birthday, that day finally came and away we went. We had such a great time and are already talking about another trip to the Big Apple one day. Until then it is time for me to get back to life and blogging. I've gotten tons of reading done but almost no blogging for a while.  It's good to be back!

  3. Sounds like a fun trip to New York! I still haven't made it there (I'm quite a bit older than 16) but I know I'll get it someday. I posted a link to this post today on my blog: http://authorjess.blogspot.com/2012/02/whats-up-wednesday-happy-leap-day.html
